The Adventures of Noko Mashaba

About

I am a multi-award-winning animation creator with more than 13 years of experience in South African digital entertainment. I am best known for creating The Adventures of Noko Mashaba, a local-language animated series that grew from internet culture into one of the country’s most recognizable animated brands. My work uses comedy to speak to South Africans in a voice they recognize. It combines entertainment with social commentary, using humour to reflect everyday life, youth struggles, relationships, mental health, social pressure and the absurdity of trying to survive in this country.
